She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold B. Culpepper; her parents, Elmer "Ray" Hitt and Margaret "Sally" Smith Hitt; her brother Roderick Hitt; and her daughter-in-law Ellie Culpepper.
She is survived by: her children, Chad Culpepper (Candi), Paula Culpepper Rhodes (Rodney) of Collinsville and Gina Culpepper White (Eddie) of Bay Springs. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials and gifts be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
