It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Jean Warren of Meridian, Mississippi, born in Bladon Springs, Alabama, who passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Webb "Bill" Warren; and her parents, Wes Standford and Abbie Standford of Silas, AL.. She is survived by: her cousins, Charles Martin (Judie), Caroline Martin, Joshua, Barrett Brown, Jill Goolsby (Rick), Robin Swift, Robin Stanford Smith and Donna Gayle Hannah; her sibling's children, Jay Warren (Karen), Mark Warren (Kathy) and Lynn Meany (David); her great-nephew Webb Warren (Malise); and her close friends, Alan and Rita Flint.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jones Memorial Presbyterian Church (4415 Royal Rd, Meridian, MS 39307). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Magnolia Cemetery (2638 23rd Ave, Meridian, MS 39305).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jean's honor to Jones Memorial Presbyterian Church in Meridian or to the charity of your choice.
