He is survived by: his wife Susan Clark Junkins; his son Joshua Michael Junkins (Deanna); his grandchildren, Hunter Junkins (Morgan), Bethany Junkins (Seth) and Makensie Junkins (Mason); his great grandchild Walker Haze Smith; his nephews, Steve Clem, Joseph Clem and Brian Clem; and his friends, Tracy Waddell, Bronzon Miles, Kevin Henderson, Shannon Culpepper, Jeremy Harper, Scotty Sanderford, Will Branum, Jonathan Hamrick and Reza Baziari. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home (6300 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39305). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Mississippi Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (248 Honor Circle, Newton, MS 39345).
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to Anderson Regional Medical Center Cancer Center's Benevolence Fund.
