He is survived by: his wife Beverly Nowell; his daughter Regina Lynn Haralson (Christopher); his grandchildren, Katie Westerfield (Chandler), Tyler Nowell (Jennifer), Matthew Miller, Miles Miller (Chloe) and Hannah Nowell; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Kinsley, Easton Ray, Colton, Miles and Ryleigh Cate; and his siblings, Billy Joe Nowell and Mary McGehee.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 22nd 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home (6300 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39305). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Salem Baptist Church (497 Kewanee Rd S, Toomsuba, MS 39364).
