He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lloyd, Ann Royal, Carey and Kathleen Philpott; his uncles, Kelly and Randy Royal; and his aunt Connie Royal.
He is survived by: his wife Amanda Slayton; his son Campbell Slayton; his parents, Tommy (Allison Slayton) and Larry (Denise Philpott); his siblings, Stacey Pollock (Britt), Lee Slayton, Rachel Hamilton (Grant) and Brian Philpott; and his siblings' children, Olivia Pollock, Ivey Creel, Collins Pollock, Jay Korsak, Case Creel, Lincoln Hamilton and Theo Hamilton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Central United Methodist Church (1004 23rd Ave, Meridian, MS 39301). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
