She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Joe Tisdale; her parents, Robert Elbert and Daisy Ola Jowers Leonard; her siblings, Jeannie Leonard Crosby, Robert "Buddy" Leonard, Johnnie Leonard, Donna Leonard Appleton, Eugene Leonard, Nettie Leonard Bryant and Katie Leonard Jackson; and her daughter-in-law Bobbie Tisdale.
She is survived by: her sons, Billy Eugene Tisdale (Sue) and James Elbert Tisdale; her grandchildren, Joseph Eugene Tisdale (Christina), Janice Susanne Tisdale Ezell (Bradley), Susan Renee Tisdale Dunn (Ted), Melanie Lee Tisdale Hayes (Marcus) and Amanda Jo Tisdale Reynolds (Bryant); and her sisters, Maggie Leonard Cardwell (Ed) and Mary Leonard Havard. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes North (7774 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39305). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (7774 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39305).
