"Bill" Griffis of Philadelphia, Mississippi; her children, Laura Baucum of Katy, Texas, Cade Carson of Madison, Mississippi and Jennifer Settlemires (Steve) of Philadelphia, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Madison Stephens (Zach), Carson Settlemires, Cale Carson, Cane Carson, Briley Carson and Brianne Baucum; and her great grandchild Caroline Stephens. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Highland Baptist Church (3400 27th St, Meridian, MS 39305). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Highland Baptist Church (HBC) to support chairs for the kitchen and the Youth/Children's Program.
