Danny Ethridge Obituary

We announce the death of Danny Ethridge (Meridian, Mississippi), who passed away on July 12, 2026, at the age of 82. Danny will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Dee and Bonnie Ree Ethridge; and his siblings, Mark, George, Jimmy Ethridge and Betty Ethridge Katsaboulas.

He is survived by: his wife Lynda Ethridge; his children, Angelia Garrard (Jim) of Plano, TX, Rus Ethridge (Karen) of Plano, Texas and Sue Owens (Jeremy) of Sioux City, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Jon Garrard (Caitlin), Amber Garrard, Joy Garrard and Matthew Ethridge; and his sisters, Jean Vinson of Chattahoochee, Florida, JoAnn Collins of Union, Mississippi and Joyce Ward of York, Alabama. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family graciously requests that memorials be made in Danny's honor to Baptist Children's Village and Family Ministries in lieu of flowers.
