He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hamilton and Anne Hamilton; and his siblings, Jeffery Hamilton, William Hamilton Jr. and Marianne Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Lauretta Hamilton; his children, William Kenan Hamilton and Hannah Hamilton Anderson (Collin); his grandson David Nicholas Anderson; his siblings, B. J. Hamilton (Cindy) and Gayle Yochim (Al); his nieces, Jennifer Brown, Benet'Moore-Pervez and Jamie Moore; and his nephew David Stuart Jacob.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church music ministry.
