It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deanna Auvil Wilbourn of Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on April 21, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Lloyd and Goldie Kight Auvil; her brother Randall Auvil; and her parents-in-law, Garnett Sturdivant and James Cox Wilbourn.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Wilbourn Williamson (Russell), Garnett Wilbourn Hutton (Tom) of Memphis and Richard Eggleston Wilbourn III of Ridgeland; her grandchildren, Caroline Elizabeth Williamson, Sarah Williamson Orr (Wilson), Garnett Sturdivant Hutton, Russell Haire Williamson, Jr., Callie Frances Hutton, Sophia Victoria Wilbourn and Deanna Maria Wilbourn; her siblings, Allan Auvil (Carolyn) of Greenville and Eleanor Fisher of Roanoke; Syble Majure. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
