Denton Braswell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Denton Braswell (Meridian, Mississippi), who passed away on March 10, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar G Braswell and Clara Braswell; his son Gregory Braswell; his grandson Jordan Tuttle; and the mother of his children Monecha Braswell.

He is survived by: his wife Sonni Braswell; his children, Graham Braswell (Debbie), Casey Maxcy (Jerry), Annette Turner (Myron) and Gary Braswell (Wendy); and his grandchildren, Nikole Listemaa (Steve), Jason Thompson, Ashley Randolph (Jason), Tori Rhodus, Wesley Braswell (Nicole), Clara Moser (Casey), David Tuttle, Zachary Turner, Iris Lehner (James), Angelle Turner, Ben Tuttle, Reagan Turner, Sara Roquemore (John), Lucas Turner (Kate), Emily Braswell-Cannon (Josiah) and Walker Braswell. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Although Doc profoundly impacted the lives of his subordinates and peers at AT&T, his greatest contributions to Meridian came after AT&T retirement.
