She was predeceased by : her husband Hoot Gipson; her daughter-in-law Mary Gipson; and her parents, Raymond Walker and Willie Belle Walker. She is survived by : her sons, Scott Gipson, Mark Gipson (Denise) and Keith Gipson (Teresa).

The Gipson family suggests memorials be made as donations to the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
