He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Curtis Gibson and Ethel Harper Gibson; and his stepmother OraDee Heath Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Wilda; his brother Buddy Gibson (Sara); and his nieces and nephews, Bryant Gibson (Tammie), Marty Gibson (Wanda), Ben Gibson, Melanie Roberts (Larry), Gwen Hatcher (Chase) and Nicole Gibson. He is also survived by grand-niece along with numerous great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to either Central United Methodist Church ramp ministry at P.O. Box 1706, Meridian, MS 39302 or to Pine Forest Baptist Church Cemetery Fund at 10031 West Lauderdale Road, Collinsville, MS 39325.
