She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Weise and Frances Weise; her husband Will Melton; her nephews, Richard Weise, Steven Guenot and Alan Creel; and her brother Richard Weise (Rosemarie Weise).

She is survived by: her daughter Sherri Melton; her granddaughters, Peighton Butler and Paige Butler; and her siblings, Frances Weise, Donna Dougherty and Robert Weise (Anna Weise).
