She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Anderson and Mary Lee Blackwell Anderson; her husband Neville Thompson; her son Donnie Thompson; and her siblings, Ileen Carroll (Elwin) and Ray Anderson (Gwen).
She is survived by: her children, Ron Thompson, Vickie Skinner (Tim) and Lisa Hancock (Jeff); her grandsons, Christopher Skinner (Kristy), Joshua Hancock, Corey Skinner (Haley), Caleb Hancock (Sarah) and Noah Hancock; her great grandchildren, Mason Hollis, Callie Hancock, Jay Hancock, Emma Skinner, Olivia Skinner and John Luke Skinner; and her pet Bucky. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home (6300 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39305). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Jones Chapel Church of God (5880 MS-145, Meridian, MS 39301). A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the same location.
The Thompson family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made as donations to the Devoe Cemetery Fund, c/o Ron Thompson.
