She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alonzo Barber and Josie Laura Giles; her husband Calvin Martin; her children, William Mark Martin and Jo Ellen Martin; her grandchildren, Dr. Brock Martin (Melissa), Alex Martin (Blakely) and Allison Brown (Chris); and her brothers, Dr Nathan L. Barber (Pat) of Hattiesburg and Billy Barber (Sandra) of Collinsville. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
