He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Joseph Kent and Gertrude Morris Kent; and his brother Patrick Joseph Kent, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Casey Kent; his children, Mark Richard Kent (Dana) and Dodie Elizabeth Holder (Larry); his grandchildren, Stefan Kent (Martina), Jake Kent, Hunter Holder, Lauren Kent and Kristi O'Connell (Bobby); and his sister Patricia Kent Cody. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
