Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gary leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard B. Simpson and Esther L. Simpson (Nelson); and his siblings, Don Simpson (Jean), Iris Mitchell (J. S.) and Carolyn Shumard.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Simpson; his son Chad B. Simpson; his grandson Caleb B. Simpson; his brother Joe Simpson (Pat); and his brother-in-law Don Denton (Brenda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Northcrest Baptist Church (3412 N Hills St, Meridian, MS 39305).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for memorial donations to be made in Gary's honor to the Roadside Rescue Network, to the Underdog Rescue of Arkansas, or to your favorite charity of choice.
