He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Easterwood and Effie Easterwood; and his brothers, Donnie Easterwood and Chuck Easterwood. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Spears (Neal); his daughters, Amy Moore and Angie White (Marissa); his grandchildren, Keaton Jamieson, Lily Kate Jamieson, Christian Moore and Avery White; and his siblings, Martha Ann Pankowski and Tim Easterwood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions to be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
