She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Smith and Myrtle Smith; her sister Faye Buckley; and her in-laws, Wilson and Flora Whitehead.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Whitehead; her children, Kim Gaddis, Cheryl Ann Herrington (Ken) and Robert Wayne Whitehead; her grandchildren, Rachael Phillips (Kenny), Erica Harper, Brooke Sharp (Adam) and Trey Whitehead; her great grandchildren, Gavin, Alaina, Jason, Grace, Joe, Mallory, Devin, Cash, Bryson, Jaxson and Lily; and her niece Lawanda Gardner (Cliff).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Carmel Baptist Church (1847 MS-19, Meridian, MS 39301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery (1847 MS-19, Meridian, MS 39301).
