He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Meyers; his parents, Elfie Meyers and Donald Meyers; his sister Ann Luther; his brother-in-law Harold Evans; and his niece Patricia Polensky.

He is survived by: his sons, Andrew Meyers (Kim) and Daniel Meyers (Tricia); his grandchildren, Cade Meyers, Luke Meyers and Elizabeth Meyers; his brother-in-law Donald Luther (Heather); his niece Jill Schroeder; his nephew Nathan Luther (Deb); his sisters-in-law, Jan Langholff (Dean), Carol Rivers (Tom) and Joan Evans; his goddaughter Lori Albrecht (Curtis); and his nieces and nephews, Darin Langholff, Janet Bolig (Reed), Richard Evans (Crystal) and Nancy Holland (Bob). He is also survived by his family, friends.

Lastly, in lieu of flowers, The Meyers Family suggests memorials be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 4805 Highway 39 N Meridian, MS 39301.
