It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Elizabeth Smiley (Meridian, Mississippi), who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Henry Franklin Boswell, Sr.; her husband James Smiley; and her brother James O. Boswell. She is survived by: her son Jimmie Moore (Ann); her brother H. F. Boswell Jr.; her grandchildren, Joely Hembree (Edwin) and Jaime Jimenez (Jaime); her great grandchildren, Logan Hembree (Jade) and Landon Hembree (Kourtney); and her great great grandchild Rylynn Hembree. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
