He was predeceased by: his daughter Tabitha Massey; his wife Debra Massey; his parents, Will Massey and Jackie Massey; and his brother-in-law Tommy Polk.
He is survived by: his daughter Lindsey Welborn (Jacob); his grandchildren, Jackson and Ava Welborn; and his siblings, Scott Massey (Frances) and Susan Polk. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association or the National Foundation for Cancer Research.
