She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Evelyn Vance and John Kenneth "J. K." Morehead; and her brother John Hilton Morehead. She is survived by: her sister Linda Strong (Charles); her nieces and nephews, Swayze, Pitchford, Hilton and Scout; her great-niece Millie Rutland (Justin); Evie.
A memorial gathering was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Weidmann's Restaurant (210 22nd Ave, Meridian, MS 39301).
