It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James E Jenkins of Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Toby Allen Jenkins and Maggie Harmon Jenkins; his wife Sylvia Jenkins; his son Perry Jenkins (Tess); and the parents of child, Toby Allen and Maggie Harmon Jenkins.

He is survived by: his sons, Mike Jenkins (Beth) and Tony Jenkins (Connie); his grandchildren, Tiffany Schenkl (Bobby), Erin Jenkins, Laurel Mills (Thomas), Emma Jenkins, Uriah Jenkins and Alex Jenkins; and his great grandchildren, Asher, Anderson and Lawson Schenkl. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Jenkins be made to Central Baptist Church.
