He is survived by: his wife Frances King; his children, Debra Killen (Creg) and David Blackmon (Molly); his grandsons, Stephen Killen (Meagan), Daniel Killen, Collin Hamilton, Bennett Blackmon, Jack Hamilton and Brice Blackmon; and his brother Frankie Blackmon (Bonnie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Oak Hill Baptist Church or The Exceptional Foundation (Birmingham, AL).
