He is survived by: his wife Tressa Currey Weathers; his children, Penny Weathers Sewell (Craig) and Van Dale Brooks; and his brothers, Billy Weathers and Charles Weathers. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
