James W. Hataway Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James W. Hataway of Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Colie May Hataway and Almon Lamar Hataway of Philadelphia, MS.; and his siblings, Shirley Hataway Johnson and Almon Lamar Hataway, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Doris Martin Hataway; his daughter Jan Hataway Butler (Darrell); his grandson Sam Butler; and his niece Kay Van Skiver. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Faith Baptist Church building fund or The Gideons International.
