Jimmy Whitehead Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Whitehead of Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Whitehead and Sara Whitehead; and his father-in-law Walter Eppes. He is survived by: his wife Susan Whitehead; his sons, Walter Whitehead and Daniel Whitehead (Stephanie Felton); his grandchildren, Rhett Whitehead, John Henry "Hank" Whitehead and Halleigh Whitehead; his siblings, Bobbie Rea (Chuck) and Rick Whitehead (Teresa); his mother-in-law Katherine Eppes; and his sister-in-law Kathy Yarborough.

The Whitehead family suggest memorial be made to First Presbyterian Church or to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
