With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joanne Parker (Meridian, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Ladell Parker; and her parents, Willie Joe and Delma Slawson. She is survived by: her children, Nathaniel Parker (Tiara), Alesia Miller and Ciara Brown (Ollie); her grandchildren, Austin Parker (Erin), Chloe Parker and Aiden Parker; her children, Amery Miller, Aria Parker, Mallory Parker, Kennon Brown and Ollie Dean Brown; her great grandchildren, Paxton Parker and Scottie Laine Parker; and her siblings, Teresa Parker (Kendall), Renea Wilson (Kevin) and Ricky Burns (Teresa). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
The Parker Family suggests memorials be made as donations to The Evangel Temple Church in lieu of flowers.
