He is survived by: his children, Joe Battle III (Rosemary) of Decatur, MS, Roland Battle (Tameka) of Meridian, Patrick Battle of Meridian, Antonia Bland (Aubrey) of King George, VA, Tracey Crawford of Meridian, MS, Tina Battle-Brown of Meridian, MS and Hope Battle Greer (Melvin) of Meridian, MS; and his siblings, Robert Lee Battle of Webster, WI, Shirley Battle of Jackson, MS. and Rosalee Battle of Jackson, MS.. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
