He was predeceased by: his parents, Garner Peninger and Rillie Peninger; and his siblings, Gracie White and Willard Peninger. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Snowden Peninger; his sons, Wendell Peninger and Eric Peninger; his granddaughter Lydia Peninger; his great grandchild Keegan Wayne; and his siblings, Jerry G. Peninger and Eunice White. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and the Kidney Foundation.
