He is survived by: his mother Jean Bowen; his wife Beverly Bowen; his children, Kent Bowen Jr. (Mary), Robert Bowen, Wendie Alsobrooks (James), Shane Bowen Jeremy (Beth) and Ashley Pool (Keeton); his grandchildren, Mallarie Herrington, Elizabeth Smith, Brandon Bowen, Kyle Bowen, Colby Williams, Dilan Williams, Matthew Bowen, Conner Alsobrooks, Asher Alsobrooks, Madison Bowen, Lindsey Bowen, MacKenzie Bowen, Mary Beth Pool, Terra Pool and Natalie Bowen; and his brothers, Gary Bowen and Alan Bowen (MiAe). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, loving aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and Close Friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home (6300 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39305). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery (248 Honor Circle, Newton, MS 39345).
The Bowen Family requests memorials be made as donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
