She was predeceased by: her father Rev. Tommie J. Verdell Sr.. She is survived by: her mother Mattie R. Verdell; and her siblings, Nicole Verdell Christopher (Toby Brewer), Diesha Verdell, Shmeka Verdell Vanhorn (Larry), Tommie Verdell, Jr. (Jasel), Yvonne Bellamy (Karreim) and Ken Orr. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
