She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Britt and Martha Britt; and her siblings, Robert Gene Brinker, John Allen Britt and Delores Hawkes.

She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Brown; her son Dr. Andy Brown (Gretchen Brown); her granddaughters, Meredith Brown and Claire Brown; and her sisters, Elizabeth Alexander, Patricia Browder and Lillie Brinker.
