He is survived by: his wife Flora Ellis; his children, Hazel Watson, Luther C. Ellis (Brenda) and Yolanda Emerson (Keith); his grandmother Williams; and his brothers, Willie B. Ellis and Norman Ellis. He is also survived by two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
