It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary M Boyd of Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on August 10, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert "Pop" Murray and Emma; her husband Elmer "Buck" Briggs; her brother Harold Murray; and her daughter Carol Elliot.

She is survived by: her son-in-law Ruel Elliott (Carol); her grandchildren, Tim Elliott (Mary) and Kim Galloway (Rusty); and her great grandchildren, Seth Elliot and Elizabeth Dufresne. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family suggests memorials be made to Briggs Chapel Cemetery fund or to Briggs Chapel Church in lieu of flowers.
