She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Marshall and Ruth Lavender Boyd; her husband Donald Lee McGaha; and her sisters, Ruby Baty (Tommy) and Jackie Moore (Dean).
She is survived by: her daughter Myrtle Ruth Culpepper (Jason) of Meridian; her brother Herbert Boyd (Emily) of Birmingham; and her granddaughters, Heather Walters of Meridian, Abigail Culpepper of Meridian, Sara Culpepper of Meridian, Jordan Culpepper of Meridian and Samantha Culpepper of Meridian. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
