With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Foster Parker Sr. (Meridian, Mississippi), who passed away on March 20, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Lee Parker and Nina Elizabeth Parker Kent; and his brother-in-law Frederick D. Feinstein. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Parker; his children, Dana Parker Gault (Jason), Susan Parker Burroughs (Lane) and Michael Foster Parker, Jr. (Jenny); his grandchildren, Olivia Cecile Marshall, Ava Marie Gault, Marilyn Sue Gault, Parker Grace Burroughs, Camryn Burroughs, Jackson Burroughs, Zoe Reese Parker, Knox Foster Parker and Mackson Hayes Parker; and his siblings, Cathy Parker Feinstein and Carey Parker (Suzanne). He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Parker be made to Methodist Rehabilitation in Jackson and/or to East Mississippi Animal Rescue.
