He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Sue and Burton Sides; the mother of his children Kathy Sides Cornett; his brother Tommy Sides; his close friend Chris Ethridge; and his sister-in-law Faye Sides.
He is survived by: his friend Kathy Sides Cornett; his children, Jason Sides (Tiffany) and Casey Sides; his grandchildren, Madalyn Rose Sanders and Carson Sides; his siblings, William Sides, Jimmy Sides (Lynda) and Patricia Reynolds (Dexter); his sister-in-law Hilda Boteler (Bob); and his friend Jana Sanders. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
