With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Miriam Elaine Culpepper Cunningham of Meridian, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert W. Cunningham; and her parents, Byron Milford Culpepper and Miriam Swain Culpepper. She is survived by: her brothers, Milford Wayne Culpepper of Columbus and Gary Culpepper (Rhonda) of Brandon; and her siblings' children, Susan Akin of Madison, Caron Byrd of Columbus, Gwen Wornall, Morgan Ward of Brandon, Julie Shook of Petal, Byron Culpepper of Pelham, AL and Michael Lang of Decatur.
Although she loved beautiful flowers, Elaine requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made in her memory to Gideons International, Meridian West Gideon Camp, P. O. Box 708, Meridian, MS 39301 or to Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church, 4032 Poplar Springs Drive, Meridian, MS 39305.
