She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Sims and Velma Mae Roberson Sims; and her brothers, James E. Sims and Lewis E. Sims. She is survived by: her husband George Timothy Fletcher, Jr.; her daughters, Teri J. Edwards (David), Shana L. Kitsos (Jeff) and Stacy Culpepper (Trey); her grandchildren, Jessica Hill (Cody), John Philip Edwards, Riley Walker (Zach), Ben Patrick Carpenter, Lathan Kade Carpenter, Brinnon Powell and Mary Alzie Culpepper; her great grandchild Nora Snow Hill; her brother Perry L. Sims (Dot); and her sister-in-law Gail Sims Mobley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
