She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurence Curtis Skipper and Sallie Slaughter Skipper of Kemper County, MS.; and her husband Col. Robert Curtis Sanders, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Diane Sanders, Robert Sanders, Jr., Greg Sanders (Young) and Karen Gladstone (Barry). She is also survived by five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
The family suggests sharing memorial contributions with The Care Lodge or The Wesley House.
