She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil James Shamburger, Sr. and Lona Kay Smith Shamburger; her brother Cecil James Shamburger, Jr.; her stepson Cary Rose; her husband Bobby J. "Buddy" Rose; and her nephew C. James "Buddy" Shamburger.

She is survived by: her children, Fonda Skelton (Kent), Lorna Copeland (Matthew), Kevin Rose and Nancy Valles; her daughter-in-law Nancy Rose; and her grandchildren, Joshua Skelton, Capri Daugherty, Taylor Skelton, Abigail Smith, Lane Copeland, Lauren Skelton, Joey Rose, Jessica Schultz, Megan Anderson, Amber Mayo and Danny Alford.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Norma's honor to the American Cancer Society or College Park Methodist Church.
