She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Darnell Simmons of Cibolo, TX and Brittany Simmons of Meridian, MS; and her siblings, Charles Miller, Sr. of New Broxton, AL, Beryl Walker of Chicago, IL and Nancy Walker of Chicago, IL.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. James AME Church (3704 Davis St, Meridian, MS 39307). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
