It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Lamar Franklin Jr. of Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on August 9, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Franklin; and his parents, Paul Franklin and Jimmie Franklin. He is survived by: his children, Chris Franklin (Melanie) of Covington, GA and Valerie Dinger (Chris) of Sneads Ferry, NC; his stepchildren, Phillip Hernandez of Supply, NC and Michelle Jessee of Bristol, TN; his sisters, Kay Oilschlager (Kenneth) of Oxford, MS and Karen Breland; his grandsons, Alex Moxcey and Will Franklin; and his stepgrandchild Orion Booher.
The family asks that memorials be made to the Paul L. Franklin, Sr. Scholarship Fund c/o MASBO.
