We announce the death of Peggy J Pearson (Meridian, Mississippi), who passed away on October 24, 2026, at the age of 84. Peggy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Pearson; her parents, Jamie Haskins and Nancy Haskins; her son-in-law Raymond Jones; her granddaughter Brandi Pearson; and her brother Jim "Jimbo" Haskins.
She is survived by: her children, Don Pearson (Stephanie), Dan Pearson (Leeta) and Debbie Jones; her grandchildren, Kennith Pearson (Andrea), Joshua Young (Tara), Kimberly Gay (John) and Krystina Watson (Craig); and her children, Jamie Smith (Jamie), Michael John and Marie Roberts (Chris). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel (6300 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39305). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
