He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Sims; his children, Steve Sims (Emily) of Seagrove Beach and Jaye Sims of Russell; his grandchildren, Peyton Massie of Brandon, Addie Sims-Hall (Duke) of San Diego and Kendall Read of Russell; and his brother-in-law George Fletcher. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
