We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Rachel Nester of Meridian, Mississippi. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Rachel is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Rachel's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, O. D. Davis and Minnie Key Davis. She is survived by: her son Don Nester (Teresa); her grandchildren, Tyson Pompelia (Cole) and Amanda Fekete; her great grandchildren, Parker Pompelia, Ty Jacob Pompelia and Sage Pompelia; her sister Annette Sumner; and her niece Cynthia Harris (Leon). She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Meridian Memorial Park.
The Nester Family suggests memorials be made as donations to Calvary Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
