She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Charleston and William Charleston; her granddaughter Jessica Lynne Armes; and her sisters, Sarah Lee Touchstone, Irene Stephens and Lucille Little.

She is survived by: her sons, Tom Armes Jr. (Karen) and Tristan Armes (Paulette); her grandchildren, Tommy Armes III, Travis Armes, Josh Armes, Cody Armes, Tori Smith, Ryan Armes, James Armes, Megan Armes, Devin Armes and LaJune Armes; and her siblings, John Henry Charleston, Ruby Ashley and Shirley Butts. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
